Not only do you have a chance of fighting him and his guards, but it is also a good place to find PMCs and has the chance to drop high tier loot. New Gas StationĬonveniently, the other place where Reshala has a spawn chance is also a key location on the Customs map. The Scav boss Reshala also has a high chance of spawning here if you’re looking for an additional combat test. If you can get your hands on all of the keys and can safely loot them all you’ll be in for a treat. It is located on the south side of the map just down from the main road and has two distinct buildings. Dormsĭorms is probably the most recognisable spot on the Escape From Tarkov Customs map, as it offers great loot alongside active PVP if that’s what you’re in the mood for. If your backpack is already full to the brim, the last thing you want is to run into another player who might take all that away, so knowing about these spots is a great way to minimise that chance. Not only are they great loot spots that will make every run worth it, but they are also worth knowing about to avoid. While you’re moving through Customs, make sure to keep an eye out for a couple of these points of interest. Additionally, there are separate extracts for PMCs and Scavs, and a handful that both can take. Alongside this there are a number of situational extracts that are either bound by time, circumstance, or single use. Like all maps your extract points are dependent on your spawn point, with the rough logic being that your extractions are on the opposite side of the map to where you spawned. The single most important thing to know on any map you decide to raid in Escape From Tarkov is how and where to get out. I will definitively consider it.Original image created by u/LowEffortSaltBox I am using letters because a lot of people play in groups & I thought it would be easier for people to communicate the associated letter to their friends rather than symbols but I could be wrong. I have some videos on my Youtube page showing how I work on a lot of different buildings & a few weeks ago I started a video series where I show how I would make Factory. I post a lot of work-in-progress stuff on Twitter so I get a lot of feedback throughout making the maps which makes the end result a lot better than if I would have just kept everything to myself I think. The color choice is usually just what looks best to me & then I adjust as I add more elements to it. After that I usually model everything in a more detailed manner one compound at a time. I usually map out roads and large terrain differences first and then I make very rough blockouts that I put into position. I can see that you've tried to do that with how you've lettered them. The one suggestion I would have would be to replace the Letters (C, D, E etc) with symbols from the Noun Project, like crane, helicopter (for evac), the back of a car for taxi etc. So I am super curious how you made these! Hey re3mr, what's your process on these? They're gorgeous and compete favorably against products by professional cartographers.
